Upload products in bulk to Shopify

Adding 80 products one at a time is a day lost. The CSV importer is powerful and completely unforgiving — this guide walks the format and the usual import failures.
What the full guide covers
1

Export one existing product as your template

Products → Export → CSV. Your template now contains every column Shopify expects, with a real example row.

2

Fill rows without renaming any column

Column headers are sacred. Duplicate the example row and edit; never reorder or rename.

3

Point images at public URLs

Image src must be a direct URL. Host via Shopify Files or any CDN; links must resolve at import time.

4

Handle variants with Handle + Option rows

One product = one Handle; variant rows repeat the handle and set Option1/2/3 + price/SKU.

5

Preview import, then verify a sample

Import, open 3–4 random products, check price, variants and images. Fix at the CSV level, not product-by-product.
